Geoffrey L. Glogas DDS, FAGD
Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Geoffrey GlogasDr. Geoffrey Glogas is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry.  He also earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue at Indianapolis.  He began his undergraduate work at Wabash College, which he attended for two years before transferring to Purdue’s Indianapolis campus for engineering. 

Dr. Glogas was born in Dunkirk, IN and graduated from Jay County High School.  He was a 1987 Indiana High School State Wrestling Champion, an IHSAA Academic All-American, and a High School Wrestling All-American.

Dr. Glogas’s commitment to being an excellent dentist is exemplified by his membership in the following organizations and receipt of other awards and honors:

Geoff Velpel

Dr. Geoffrey GlogasDr. Geoff Velpel was born in Garrett, IN and graduated from Snider High School in 1976. As an undergrad, Dr. Velpel studied at IPFW, University of Montana, and Indiana University Bloomington. He graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1984. In the first nine years as a dentist he served Native Americans in Montana and Alaska. Dr. Velpel had a private practice for 14 years and retired in 2009. He lost Diane, his first wife, to cancer at that time and then took a two year sabbatical. He has since worked as an interim dentist in a few practices across northern Indiana. We are grateful for his service here at Glogas Family Dentistry the past year, and we are very excited that he has decided to make this home for the remainder of his career.

Dr. Velpel has a variety of outdoor hobbies such as fishing, golf, tennis, and hiking in the wilderness. He has been married to his wife Sarah for five years. He has two adult children.

Phil Jones

Dr. Phil Jones graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1967. He was in private practice for 41 years, and 37 of those were in Roanoke, IN. Dr. Jones has 6 children ranging in age from 48 to 13. Spending time with his youngest son is one of his greatest joys. Dr. Jones also likes to Golf when he has the time, and he is always up for dinner with his brother on the weekends.
